Professional Profile

I am a thorough physician and passionate about the work that I do. It is my greatest joy to help my patients so they can live a healthy life.

As an interventional cardiologist I take care of people’s hearts, treat their medical issues. My training allows me to open up the vessels of the heart so when a patient is having a heart attack, I can put in stents so they have better blood flow to their heart. Being able to do this means, I am able to help my patients live longer lives. It is very rewarding work.

I chose cardiology as my medical specialty because I find every aspect of cardiology interesting and exciting. I love that I can see patients’ lives improve by providing life-saving procedures.

Cardiology is a dynamic field. It is growing and changing all the time. It is a field where we have gone from not being able to do any procedure but via open heart surgery in the last century, to now when an interventional cardiologist can treat cardiovascular issues through catheter-based procedures that are done through a small, 2 mm, opening.

I’ve been treating patients in the Bay Area for a while and knowing prior cardiologists at NorthBay, I saw it is a place where I can put my skills to use. I saw the collegiality of the physicians, the patient need and appreciated the support of the administration here. Joining this team is an opportunity, I could not resist.

If there is one thing I want my patients to know about me, it is that I am a passionate professional and friendly. I want them to know they can trust me and that I will listen to what they have to say and also advise them on what I believe is the best course for treatment.

One healthy piece of advice I give to my patients and offer to people so they never need an interventional cardiologist is to eat healthy, eat in moderation and keep up exercise so they can be as healthy as possible. And I practice what I preach, I watch what I eat and exercise three times a week.
